Hey Wit-Nation! In this week’s “Best Practices,” Dylan explains how to follow up with your Witly leads and dial in your strategy.
A frequent question we are being asked is how to follow up with your leads once you get them through Witly. These leads are not like the ones you would get through Zillow, so you can’t approach them the same way. With Zillow, it is recommended to hit them with that “hard sell” they are typically ready to buy or sell, so it is more expected. However, with leads you get from Facebook or Witly specifically, you have to approach them differently.
You want to serve them before you sell them. For example, you want to introduce yourself, ask them how you can help them with their real estate needs, and keep it pretty casual. If they immediately say that they are not interested and were just curious, you can let them know that you are there to answer any of their questions when they are ready and ask them to send you referrals if they know anyone. If they say they are interested, you can send them a customized list and let them know that if any homes on there fit with what they’re looking for, you would be happy to help. Let them come to you once you put out the bait.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to Dylan.
We do have follow-up processes in Witly with scripts that you have full access to if you are a user.
